Pyogenic Granuloma
Pyogenic granuloma is an intraoral lesion characterized by a proliferation of connective tissue containing numerous blood vessels and inflammation cells. It occurs as a response to injury and is soft when palpated. Pyogenic granuloma will present itself as a deep red to purple lesion that bleeds easily because of its tissue vascularity.
